Presentation of Father Bill Atkinson's Cause Given to Bonner-Prendergast High School Community

On Tuesday evening, May 23, 2017, the Bonner-Prendergast High School Community was given a presentation on Father Bill Atkinson's Cause for Beatification and Canonization, which was officially opened by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput,  OFM Cap., following a liturgy on April 24, 2017, celebrated at Saint Thomas of Villanova Church.

Mannella Lecture by Prior Provincial Michael Di Gregorio, O.S.A.: March 29

SAVE THE DATE! Join us at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in Speakers’ Corner of Falvey Memorial Library for the Alfred F. Mannella and Rose T. Lauria-Mannella Endowed Distinguished Speaker Series lecture featuring the Very Rev. Michael Di Gregorio, OSA, Prior Provincial. Father Di Gregorio's talk, “The Birth of a Mission to South Philadelphia Italians: A Friar's Tale,” will focus on the formation of the Italian-Augustinian mission to the immigrants of Philadelphia at the start of the 20th century, including the challenges, opportunities and achievements. Light refreshments will be served.

ADROP: Mass of Thanksgiving & Fundraiser

The Augustinian Defenders of the Rights of the Poor (ADROP) will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving and Fundraiser on Sunday March 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Corr Hall, Villanova University. The principal celebrant will be Michael Di Gregorio, O.S.A., Prior Provincial, Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova.

Following Mass, a brunch will be served at the Connelly Center on the University's campus.
