Parishes We Serve

Parish life created through communities of faith has held an important place in the Augustinian history in the United States, and it stems from their first foundation at St. Augustine Church in Philadelphia in 1796.

Today, the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova administers 10 parishes in Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania, and 4 in Japan, as well as the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia in Philadelphia. These parishes are an active and visible sign of the Augustinian commitment to seek God together and to teach a love of God and neighbor.

As Augustinians of the Saint Thomas of Villanova Province, we are proud of our history and the relationships we have built in our local communities. Our hearts are truly on fire because we have the opportunity to collaborate in community with others and to be of one mind and one heart on the way to God.
