Prior to 2001, Father Walter J Quinn, O.S.A., hadn’t painted. In 2001, he picked up a brush and began painting, inspired by the television series that ran on PBS, The Joy of Painting, which was hosted by painter Bob Ross. In February, Saint Thomas of Villanova Monastery hosted an exhibition of the paintings of Father Quinn, who resides at the Monastery.
