1846 – 1925 (June 23)
John Frail, son of Michael and Mary Frail, was born in County Galway, Ireland on June 24, 1846. He was vested at Villanova, Pennsylvania on December 1, 1901, and was professed on July 7, 1908 with the name Brother Possidius.
For many years, Brother Possidius was a faithful and diligent worker on the farm and lawns at Villanova. He died suddenly, on June 23, 1925 at the age of 79. Mass of Requiem was celebrated by Prior Provincial Nicholas Vasey, at which Prior Henry Fleming gave the sermon.
Brother Possidius is buried at Villanova in the Community Cemetery.
